It might just be my computer being slow, but sometimes when i cast lightning strike it does not do the whole lightning animation....anyone have any ideas why?

everything is at full, and i have 512 mb of ram (my comp passes the standard stuff) its just sometimes it works and sometimes it dosent

Ya, Lightning Strike doesn't always show the bolt of lightning. There are among other little things I noticed when casting is once in a great while the casting bar won't show up, but I did cast the spell.
